Two bands of boys, roughly eight to fourteen years old, from neighboring Irish villages battle each other daily since, well, there is little better to do. Prisoners of War undergo the "torture" of having all their clothing-buttons cut off. Depending on whom one's parents are, this can be more serious than it sounds. Yet, might the leaders of the two gangs (Gregg Fitzgerald and John Coffey) ever prove capable of understanding one another, forming a truce?
